  • This one an a half hour class, for kids ages 7-14, will open your child’s eyes to the wonders of the honeybee. We will talk about and experience all the incredible things bees produce, from propolis to beeswax and honey. Kids will learn what a honeybee does from the time it hatches to the whirlwind life of pollinating and making honey. We won’t be opening up a beehive, but we will have an observation hive for the kids to see bees in action inside the hive. Fun crafts for some hands-on learning will bring bee life up close and personal. Please note that there are hives on the property and you may see a bee or two flying around. Also, Blooming Ranch is a real live farm so chickens will also be meandering around. They are used to kids and are pretty friendly.
